About Us

The company was founded in 2016 by Dr Mridul Majumder with a simple motto “Quality Science Delivered on Time”.
Having a rich knowledge and decades of experience, especially in the solid-state analysis, the intention was to set M2M pharma as a company of choice for Material Characterisation with a special emphasis on developing methods for quantifying the small level of amorphous content in micronized samples.

Today, we have all in-house technology that is running, with a principle to cGMP quality system, and supporting our clients regularly. Now, M2M Pharma known in the industry as an "Agile Company" to develop your products at early stage by having air-jet milling-micronisation, planetary milling, spray drying (with an inert loop to handle organic solvent), freeze drying, rotary evaporation, turbula blender etc, as in-house techniques with decades of experience. Analytical techniques like NGI, HPLC are often used to measure APSD, emitted dose, content uniformity etc. for an early stage inhaled product development.

Jacques Ledru, PhD – Technical Operations and Quality Manager

With more than 20 years of experience in solid state characterisation, Jacques Ledru joined M2M Pharmaceuticals Ltd in July 2024 after 17 years leading the solid state characterisation team at Catalent in Nottingham formerly known as Molecular Profiles and then Juniper Pharmaceuticals before Catalent took over in 2018. Jacques’ expertise covers a wide range of techniques used in the analytical testing of drugs substances and products from the formulation development to the manufacturing stages. During his time at Catalent, Jacques led the networking activities between solid state characterisation SMEs across the Catalent network. Earlier in career, Jacques was also heavily involved in patent litigation testing for more than 10 years.

Jacques received his Master’s degree and doctorate in Physics and Materials Science from the University of Rouen in France. Then, he performed postdoctoral work at the Engineering and Chemistry Department of the University of Aberdeen (UK) where he developed a high pressure differential scanning calorimeter and research activities on active pharmaceutical ingredients. Jacques has published 15 research papers.
